Sol focuses his practice on corporate and intellectual property law.  His main area of interest is working with emerging technology companies.

Currently living in Montreal, Sol previously founded and ran a boutique corporate and intellectual property law firm, based in Ottawa and Toronto.  Sol has litigated complex intellectual property cases before the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal.

Sol has a passion for technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.  He has considerable experience in structuring and orienting companies for commercial success. He has orchestrated a number of successful financings. During his career, Sol has worked integrally with companies in various capacities including as general counsel, director, and angel investor. Currently, Sol is on the management team of a rapidly growing software business with offices in Calgary, San Francisco and Barbados.
